Royal Love: AriaxSonata

Sonata giggled as she spun around, on the tips of her toes like a pretty ballerina, her florescent pink blanket draped over her shoulders, a pretty tiara atop of her blue hair.



The blankets she wore as a robe were tied together with a rubber band above her chest were tied together with a rubber band above her chest so that a long cape was made, she glanced around their living room, blurring out random phrases in a stuck-up accent.



Aria trotted down the stairwell, her ears were covered around her headphones listening to her music on her iPhone, she was typically a Rock and Roll type of girl but also has a lot of respect for classical music. She looked up from her phone and noticed that Sonata was spinning around foolishly and humming a fancy tune, wondering what in the world the girl was up to, even though Sonata confused her, Aria was not surprised.


"Sonata, what are you doing?" She asked, turning off her phone and removing her headphones, setting it down on the couch as she approached her.


"I'm being a pretty pink princess." She answered, not bothering to stop spinning and look at her.


Aria shrugged, picked up her headphones and her cellular device, and began to go upstairs, she was looking to get some sleep since she worked an 7 hour shift last night, but stopped at the first step when Sonata called her name.


"Aria, wait." She stopped her twirling to address her, desperation lacing her words.


Aria looked over her shoulder at her roommate.



"Um, I need a King, but there isn't any so... Would you be my queen?"


Aria cracked a smile, turning back around and returning to her roommate.

"Sure, Sonata."


Sonata giggled and awarded her with a big bone crushing hug. She gathered up more blankets off the floor and pulled a hairband from her wrist. She laid the blankets over her shoulders and tied them together lightly below her throat with the hairband, she picked a purple construction paper crown off the coffee table and placed it on her head.


"There, you're my Queen Ari, we'll rule the world with our singing, giving peace and happiness to all the happy children in the time of our reign." she laughed, her cheesy stuck up accent returning in her voice.


Aria grinned as well. "What should we do, milady?"

"We shall dance like never before!"


Sonata returned humming an old timey royal tune, linking hands with Aria as they began to move rhythmically.


Aria moved her feet and legs accordingly as she held hands with her roommate, making butterflies flutter inside. Her palms got sweaty and her knees felt weak.


"Is something wrong, highness?" Sonata asked, her pretty eyes beaming on Aria, she noticed how nervous her roommate had suddenly become, she stopped dancing to confront her.


"N-no, I'm just fine." Aria failed to lie, Sonata giving her a disapproving stare as she avoided eye-contact with her.


"I know something wrong, just tell me. You kind of suck when it comes to lying." Sonata said, dropping her stuck up accent.


"N-nothing..." She replied her voice shaking and quiet. She tried twiddling her thumbs so she wouldn't notice anything, but failed at that.

"Aria Blaze, what it wrong with you. You better tell me or else I'll confine you to my room with my girl-band pop music playing on my stereo all day!" Sonata said smiling evilly.


"NO! Please, no, god. Please don't!" Aria begged.


"Then tell me why you're acting so weird."


Aria gulped as she stared at her toes popping out of the blanket robe.


"Well... Promise that you won't hate me?"


"Blah, blah. Yeah, I promise, just get to the point." Sonata said rolling her eyes.


Aria frowned, but began to lighten up. "Well, I love it when you touch me... Like, a lot. I get all awkward and dizzy when you touch me..."


Aria was in love with her.


Sonata's jaw dropped "A-Aria... Why didn't you just tell me?"


"Because it's not that easy, Sonata. I think I'm a lesbian... We're not supposed to act like that in public, what if we get stares!" Aria blurted out.


"Oh Ari..." Sonata drew her in for a hug. She sat down on the floor and pulled her down with her.


"It's alright, I like you too, but just don't show it around others. Only we will know about our little secret..."


She flipped the blanket cape over their heads, making a dark shade canopy, she puckered her lips and leaned in, kissing her roommate. The two rolled around in their blanket. Their paper crowns getting crumpled as they kissed under the covers. In the darkness, their hands felt each other's body, their kiss was deep and sensual.


Aria broke the kiss and sat up, bringing Sonata with her. The blankets fell down, exposing them to the light. Aria reached over and grabbed the crumpled pink Tiara and placed it on her tangled hair.

"You're my Princess, Sonata." Aria said as she held her waist, Sonata blushed, grabbing the purple crown and doing the same.


"And you're my Queen."
